08/28/2007: (no more) CuDeFX As of today CuDeFX is no longer available from this site.

06/14/2007: CuDeFX Just to clear up any misunderstandings. Steinberg does not endorse CuDeFX. In fact they recommend against using this tool. Appearently the next version of Cubase will in fact have similar functionality built-in. As such there is no future for CuDeFX in its current form and thus will CuDeFX 1.0.0 be the final version.

05/30/2007: CuDeFX CuDeFX version 1.0.0 final has been released. Get it on the CuDeFX page.

05/28/2007: CuDeFX The first beta version of CuDeFX has been released! CuDeFX removes the 'Earlier VST-Plugins' level for insert/send/process effects in Cubase 4. For more info go to the Application section or the Forum.

05/18/2007: Site Update The site finally got a long overdue facelift. No major changes. But it all looks a bit better and makes more sense. The old startpage is now gone and the new forum is now better integrated into the site. And there is more news... it took a while but new software is coming. Soon!

05/03/2007: Not Dead Yet Unlike this website it has all been all but quiet in the background here at protonfx. New things are coming! For starters there is now an official protonfx.com forum. Visit the protonfx.com forum

06/20/2005: Dirkey All rights of current and future releases of Dirkey have been aquired by Infover. This means that as of today protonfx will no longer offer downloads of Dirkey and will no longer provide support for Dirkey.

01/09/2005: New Year, New Stuff Some (very) minor tweaks were made to the site and the Applications section no longer lists Dirkey but Dirkey NTXP instead. Additionally Brett Pantalone has made a WinZip plug-in for Dirkey which allows you to set/get the current folder in the Extract dialog of WinZip 8 and 9. You can find the plug-in in the Plug-ins section of the Dirkey site.
